Deposit
A deposit of 30% of the total cost per person is required to book a cabin.
The balance is due in full 125 days prior to departure. Payments can be made by wire transfer or credit card via WeTravel. Wire transfer costs are to be borne by the sender. Credit card payments are subject to a 2.5% to 4.5% fee. Payments received after the due date are subject to a $250 USD per person late payment fee.
Children
Children aged 8 and above are welcome on tours, provided they meet all passenger requirements: 1.20 meters (3.9 feet) tall, weighing 30 kilos (66 pounds) or more, and accompanied by a responsible adult who takes full responsibility and signs a waiver for the minor. A 5% discount on the rate per person is offered for children under 12 years.
Single Travelers
Single travelers can choose between:
- Booking a dedicated Single Cabin: no supplement is applied for single use of dedicated Single Cabins.
- Booking a Twin Cabin for single use: an 85% supplement will be added to the rate per person when booking a limited number of Porthole and Deluxe Veranda Cabins on Magellan Explorer, and Deluxe Veranda Cabins on Magellan Discoverer. A 100% supplement applies when booking all other categories.
- Sharing a cabin: with another passenger of the same gender, available on Magellan Explorer in Porthole and Veranda Cabins, and on Magellan Discoverer in Deluxe Veranda Cabins. The company will assign the matching companion. Passengers who book this option but cannot be matched will be accommodated in single use with no additional supplement at Punta Arenas hotel. Those guests may pay a Single Hotel Room Supplement depending on availability on the departure date. Please inquire at the time of reservation.
Notes

HS: Hiking & Snowshoeing in Antarctica, available for booking on board the ship at $85 per person, per excursion.
*: Activities performed only in Antarctica.
R*: Denotes reverse itinerary, with start in Punta Arenas and end in Ushuaia.
Note: Single travelers who use CPAP machines or other assistive devices, as well as those with conditions that can be disruptive to others (loud snoring, sleepwalking, etc.), can only book their air-cruise in a Single Cabin or a Twin Cabin for single use. They cannot book on a twin-share basis.
