This classic Antarctic Explorer cruise is perfect for first-time visitors. You will see the most of the Antarctic Peninsula and have the opportunity to visit the historic landmark Cape Horn and possibly the albatross breeding grounds on the Diego Ramirez Islands. Explore the majestic environments on foot and by Zodiac, and get close to penguins, dolphins and other wildlife. Our onboard experts will also give talks about history, biology, and glaciology.

Day by day

Day 1: Arrive in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Arriving in Buenos Aires is possible at any point during the first day of your itinerary. You will transfer independently to the group hotel after arriving in this magnificent city known for its rich European heritage and architecture.
Day 2: Fly to Ushuaia and Embark

The group departs from the hotel for the airport to board a private chartered flight to Ushuaia in Argentina after a breakfast.

You will then be taken to a location in the heart of the town where you can explore the charming port before heading to the pier.

You will embark in the late afternoon and sail the Beagle Channel that crosses the archipelago of Tierra del Fuego, located at the southernmost tip of South America.

Day 3: Cape Horn and Diego Ramirez
Day 4 & 5: Crossing the Drake Passage
Day 6 to 10: South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula
Day 11 & 12: Crossing the Drake Passage
Day 13: Disembark in Ushuaia and Fly to Buenos Aires
