This 18-day journey guides you through a spectacular itinerary across various captivating locales. Beginning in a vibrant harbor, you traverse towards the awe-inspiring splendor of Antarctica, traversing scenic fjords and encountering a rich array of wildlife en route. Following days of exploration in Antarctica, you cross the Drake Passage once more, engaging in onboard experiences before arriving at Ushuaia, the entrance to Tierra del Fuego. You then have the choice to further extend your adventure with one of the optional Post-Programs.

Day by day

Day 1: Valparaiso

Your expedition voyage to Antarctica and Patagonia begins in the lively city of Valparaíso. Known as the 'Gem of the Pacific', this UNESCO-designated city sprawls across steep hillsides, offering stunning views of the sea.

Filled with delightful scents and lively sounds, Valparaíso is a bustling maze of narrow streets, colorful neighborhoods, vibrant homes, and bustling markets showcasing local goods. Take in the ambiance as you ride the charming funiculars up Cerro Alegre and Concepción.

Enhance your exploration of the region with one of the available Pre-Programs.

Day 2 & 3: At Sea

Over the next two days at sea, you'll have the opportunity to further explore the wonders of the journey.

The Expedition Team consists of experts in various fields, including oceanography, geology, ornithology, and history. Participate in their engaging lectures and interactive sessions at the Science Center.

Don't forget to bring along your binoculars to catch sight of elusive wandering albatrosses and petrels. Enjoy the onboard amenities, including spa treatments in the wellness zone, and make use of the infinity pool, hot tubs, jogging track, sauna, and gym facilities for a truly relaxing experience.

    Learn to capture wildlife and landscape shots in a small group photography program, including critiquing sessions and editing classes. Plus, Explorer Boat excursions with a dedicated photography expert on landings.

    Achieve the best views and photographs from a forward facing Explorer Boats. They allow you to sit comfortably and securely while crackling through the ice-strewn waters. Look out for wildlife such as penguins, seals and whales as you cruise.

    It doesn’t get more serene than complimentary yoga classes to the tune of glacial scenery. Join the most unique exercise setting in the world after a day of exploration. Classes are regular but are dependent on weather conditions and swell.
