Arctic Highlights Southbound

The Arctic expedition follows a unique path which starts at Svalbard's frozen landscape and ends at Iceland's volcanic coastline. The expedition starts at Longyearbyen before it moves through the Greenland Sea to reach the stunning fjords which belong to Northeast Greenland National Park. Day by day

Day 1: Departure from Longyearbyen

The adventure begins in Longyearbyen, a remote Arctic town surrounded by glaciers and rugged mountains. The expedition vessel takes you to a completely isolated area when you step aboard for your journey. The start of this journey takes place in remote areas which receive very few visitors from across the globe. The ship departs from port to reveal Svalbard's stunning landscapes which match the exciting nature of the upcoming voyage.

Day 2 - 5: Into the Svalbard Wilderness

The expedition takes travelers to Svalbard's core region which features an ice-covered environment and an endless ocean view and an open sky above. The landscape shows powerful geological structures which formed through glacial movement during multiple centuries of glacial activity. The Arctic region remains free from human interference while it stretches across a wide area which allows visitors to witness untouched natural beauty. Explorer Boats

Achieve the best views and photographs from a forward facing Explorer Boats. They allow you to sit comfortably and securely while crackling through the ice-strewn waters. Look out for wildlife such as penguins, seals and whales as you cruise.

Yoga

It doesn’t get more serene than complimentary yoga classes to the tune of glacial scenery. Join the most unique exercise setting in the world after a day of exploration. Classes are regular but are dependent on weather conditions and swell.
