Day by day

Day 1: Ushuaia

Ushuaia, the most southern town on earth is our base for a trip to Antarctica. We will meet you at the airport to transfer you directly to your hotel, which we have included on the itinerary. The rest of your day is free for you to explore this adventure and port center.

The Museo del Fin del Mundo is a great place to learn about the history and wildlife of this area. There are many activities available to suit your level of fitness and interests, such as hiking in the Tierra del Fuego National Park nearby or watching wildlife on Beagle Channel. Ushuaia is home to a number of restaurants serving Patagonian Lamb, as well as delicious Fuegian Seafood.

Day 2: Beagle Channel

After breakfasting in your hotel, you can enjoy a day at Ushuaia. Admire the stunning views from the waterfront of the Martial Range, the southernmost Andes. Shop for souvenirs or last-minute winter gear. You'll be borrowing your parkas and boots on board the ship soon. Avenida San Martin has many cafés, parrillas and gelato shops that you can satisfy your hunger for lunch.

The M/V Sea Spirit is a luxurious expedition ship. Discover the ship's spaciousness and then settle in to your suite. Your home on your journey will be here. As soon as your ship leaves port, you will receive informative briefings and presentations from the expedition team. After the first dinner, step out onto the decks to take in the stunning evening scenery and light as we cruise through the Beagle Channel.
