The Antarctic Peninsula and mysterious Subantarctic Islands are just a few of the amazing places you will visit on this incredible journey. This expedition is similar to the South Georgia Odyssey and Antarctic Odyssey but allows you to spend more time in the FalklandsMalvinas to discover the fascinating history and see the amazing birdlife. Be prepared to be astonished by some of the world's largest king penguin colony in South Georgia. You'll experience the true essence of adventure and exploration as you immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the Antarctic Peninsula.

Day by day

Day 1: Ushuaia

A representative will greet you upon arrival in Ushuaia and accompany you to the pre-voyage accommodation. Please make your way directly to the hotel if you are already in Ushuaia. Check-in starts at 3 pm. Visit the Las Hayas Ushuaia Resort's hospitality desk between 8 am and 12 pm, or 3 pm and 7 pm in order to collect your luggage tags. Also, you can confirm your participation for the Beagle Channel & Isla de Los Lobos Cruise tomorrow. They will answer any questions, discuss details of the cruise, or provide last-minute information.

Check-in will provide a Welcome Pack for those who arrive after 7:00pm. The next morning, between 8 am and 10 am, please visit the reception desk.

You can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You are responsible for your meals today.

Accommodations assigned: Las Hayas Ushuaia Resort, or Los Acebos Ushuaia Hotel.

Day 2: Embarkation

Enjoy your breakfast this morning and then complete the checkout process. If you are using carry-on bags, make sure they have cabin tags that clearly display your name and your cabin number. Before or after check-out bring your cabin luggage up to reception, so that it can be stored, and then transferred to the port to clear, to be ready for your arrival. Keep any personal or valuable items on you at all times.

Enjoy the free morning to discover Ushuaia.

For anyone interested in an afternoon catamaran trip, meet at the lobby of the hotel at 12:45pm for the transfer to the harbor at 1pm. Sail the Beagle Channel on the catamaran, towards the famous Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. Many bird species can be seen along the route, including colonies of imperial cormorants and sea lions basking in the sun on rocky outcrops. This cruise offers panoramic views of both the city and surrounding mountains, as well as stories of local people.

If you would prefer to spend a more leisurely afternoon, then meet in the lobby of the hotel at 3:45pm for the transfer to the dock for the embarkation.

After you arrive onboard, settle in your cabin and attend any mandatory information sessions. Gather on deck as the ship leaves the port to start the adventure and enjoy the breathtaking views of Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego.

Welcome dinner in the evening to mark the start of your exciting Antarctica adventure. Get to know fellow expeditioners and the expedition crew.

Photograph black-browed albatrosses and find elusive macaroni penguins in the Falklands~Malvinas.
