Realm of the Polar Bear in Depth
The 11-day Arctic expedition starts in Longyearbyen before it explores the entire Svalbard archipelago and finishes back at the starting point. The experience depends on the natural patterns which occur in this area because travel paths change every day based on ice conditions and animal movements. The endless summer daylight reveals travelers to experience vast ice fields and dramatic coastlines and a diverse selection of Arctic wildlife.

Day by day

Day 1: Arrival in Longyearbyen and Departure into the Arctic
The expedition starts in Longyearbyen which serves as a distant Arctic town located between its towering mountains and icy ocean waters. The area receives a distinct atmosphere because the midnight sun creates soft lights which cover the entire region. The expedition needs to start its ocean journey because this first segment will take them to explore one of Earth's most isolated regions. The ship sails into an extensive natural wilderness when it moves past the settlement area.
Day 2: Entering the Svalbard Archipelago
Svalbard reveals its core landscape during the second day when visitors can see glaciers which reach into the sea and fjords which extend deep into the land. The path selection process depends on current conditions to deliver an exceptional experience to participants. Wildlife starts to show up during this time because seabirds fly overhead while seals take breaks on the ice that floats in the water. The vast natural structures reach far into the distance which creates an impression of enormous size in this environment.
Day 3: Arctic Ice and Wildlife Watching
Day 4: Glacial Fronts and Frozen Landscapes
Day 5 - 7: Tundra and Arctic Fauna
Day 8: Seabird Colonies and Coastal Cliffs
Day 9: Continuing the Arctic Journey
Day 10: Last Explorations in Svalbard
Day 11: Disembarkation in Longyearbyen
