The 21-day expedition voyage leads you to experience Sir Ernest Shackleton's journey through the most isolated regions which exist on Earth. The expedition travels through Antarctic Peninsula and Elephant Island and South Georgia and Falkland Islands to combine stunning natural views with remarkable animal sightings. The destinations display different stages of polar exploration through their combination of glaciers and icebergs and their historical expedition locations and natural beauty.

Day by day

Day 1: Gateway to the End of the World: Ushuaia
Your adventure begins in Ushuaia, a remote city nestled between mountains and sea. The southernmost city on Earth serves as the starting point for your expedition which provides an intense beginning to your journey. The natural environment shows the unspoiled character of this area because glaciers and ocean winds formed its landscape. The journey to the Southern Ocean and further destinations has everyone ready for departure.
Day 2: Setting Sail Through the Beagle Channel
Board your expedition vessel and begin sailing through the scenic Beagle Channel. The land-water border shows viewers two stunning views of rough coastal terrain and faraway mountain ranges. The expedition team meets you during onboard briefings which also explain the upcoming journey details. The start of your adventure requires you to leave your current surroundings because you will travel toward the vast ocean.

Learn to capture wildlife and landscape shots in a small group photography program, including critiquing sessions and editing classes. Plus, Explorer Boat excursions with a dedicated photography expert on landings.

Achieve the best views and photographs from a forward facing Explorer Boats. They allow you to sit comfortably and securely while crackling through the ice-strewn waters. Look out for wildlife such as penguins, seals and whales as you cruise.

It doesn’t get more serene than complimentary yoga classes to the tune of glacial scenery. Join the most unique exercise setting in the world after a day of exploration. Classes are regular but are dependent on weather conditions and swell.
