Ultimate Antarctic Circle Crossing is a 15-day / 14-night round-trip voyage from Ushuaia offering an extended journey through Antarctica. After crossing the Drake Passage and entering colder waters beyond the Antarctic Convergence, the expedition reaches the South Shetland Islands for Zodiac and kayak exploration among volcanic scenery, glaciers and wildlife. The vessel then travels south along the Antarctic Peninsula, with possible stops at Damoy Point, opportunities to look for Humpback whales in Wilhelmina Bay and navigation through the Lemaire Channel. If conditions allow, the ship crosses the Antarctic Circle at 66°33′S and continues toward historic and rarely visited British Survey bases before turning north. Additional days are then spent exploring the Antarctic Peninsula, including bays, channels, scientific bases and historic landing sites, before the return crossing of the Drake Passage to Ushuaia.
