Uncharted Antarctica: East & West Peninsula
The west coast of Antarctica is well known for its penguin colonies and ice channels. It also has a rich history of human settlement. For the adventurous, the journey along Antarctic Sound will take you to the remote and rugged east side. Here leviathan icebergs dot the horizon. Dark basaltic rocks and cliffs provide a true sense of Antarctica. In search of an authentic adventure, we will sail Ocean Endeavour through sweeping landscapes in channels that are only navigated a handful of times per year. We will toast Antarctica and celebrate the findings of our three-day exploration with an Antarctic Sound crossing. Then, as we continue westwards to the familiar and famous locations of the Western Coastline and shores. This is a unique opportunity to experience Antarctica at its wildest.

Day by day

Day 1 & 2: Ushuaia, Argentina
Arriving at Ushuaia Airport you will find our representative waiting to take you to your accommodation. The representative will hold a sign. If you are unable to reach them, contact our local representative.

The windswept city is surrounded by mountains, glaciers and the Beagle Channel. This historic channel will be the starting point of the Ocean Endeavour's journey south. Explore the local café scene and the street life, or take a hike through the alpine conifers at the base of Martial Glacier to enjoy an Argentine meal in one of many restaurants on the waterfront.

We'll bid Ushuaia farewell from the Ocean Endeavour decks while we spot wildlife, and enjoy a toast to welcome you aboard.
Day 3 & 4 : Drake Passage
The famous Drake Passage is the first thing you will see and hear on day 3 of your Antarctic voyage. Albatross, and other seabirds accompany us to our destination.
Your onboard experts will start their presentations at the Nautilus Lounge in preparation for days ahead. Keep your eyes open on Ocean Endeavour decks and from the comfort of the bridge observation area for any first iceberg sightings as Antarctica approaches.
